FHGR contacted with presidential campaigns concerning offshore banking, hedge funds, etc. Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee traveled to Cayman Islands for the Young Caymanian Leadership Award banquet. Leading up the his visit, FHGR advised the Cayman Islands Portfolio of Finance on how to strategically prepare for this visit. Additionally, FHGR spoke with Huckabee campaign staff about the Cayman Islands and provided Ted Bravakis with a Huckabee campaign staff contact. FHGR requested a meeting between Mike Huckabee and representatives from the Portfolio of Finance during his visit. FHGR met with Deborah Drummond, a representative of Cayman Islands government, in Washington, DC, on February 12, 2008. FHGR held a formal conference call with Ted Bravakis and other consultants on February 7, February 15, February 21.

On December 18, 2007 FHGR contacted Rules concerning AMT status. FHGR sent general information prepared by Cayman Islands about the Ugland House and the Cayman Islands government to the office of Senator Obama on December 13, 2007. FHGR gave strategic advice to the Cayman Islands Portfolio of Finance on the GAO visit to the Cayman Islands scheduled for January 2008. FHGR held a formal conference call with Ted Bravakis and other consultants on December 17.

Eric Cantor, Rep. Artur Davis, Rep. Kevin Brady) for the Cayman Islands Portfolio of Finance. FHGR held a formal conference call with Ted Bravakis and other consultants on November 6, 2007.
