Nihon Matsuri: The City of Osaka, Chicago Office exhibited Nihon Matsuri which was sponsored by MAJC. This festival is a free, family-friendly Spring festival. There were a lot of booth, such as Japanese tour agency, Shodo, Origami, Japanese goods, game and foods. Also, live performances on stages, including traditional and popular Japanese music and dance and martial arts demonstrations. |

Robot & Vision Motion Control Show: The Robot & Vision Motion Control Show, a biennial event hosted by the Robotics Industries Association (RIA). Sakura Matsuri: The City of Osaka, Chicago Office, exhibited within the Japan National Tourist Organization (JNTO) booth along with several tour agency group, other local government offices and Japan Railways. This festival since its conception in 1961, has become the biggest of its kind in the world outside of Japan, attracting over 1.4 million people in recent years. The Sakura Matsuri is a free, family-friendly festival. There are over 15 vendors of Japanese food, two beer gardens, 30 exhibitors of Japanese arts and culture, 15 vendors of Japanese products, and over 30 hours of live performances on five stages, including traditional and popular Japanese music and dance and martial arts demonstrations. |
